- Siemens Tecnomatix FactoryLink contains a vulnerability that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to upload arbitrary files on a targeted system.
The vulnerability exists because the affected software fails to perform sufficient sanitization on user-supplied input.
An unauthenticated, remote attacker could exploit the vulnerability by convincing a user to visit a malicious web page that is designed to submit crafted input to the affected software. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to upload arbitrary files.

An unauthenticated, remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by convincing a user to visit a malicious web page that is designed to submit crafted input to the affected software. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to upload arbitrary files.
- To exploit the vulnerability, the attacker may provide a link that directs a user to a malicious site and use misleading language or instructions to persuade the user to follow the provided link.
